Kosovan Legal Group is pleased to announce the successful completion of a project aimed at ensuring a new direction of the delivery of grains and oilseeds on the Danube River for a group of grain trading companies, with a transshipment capacity of 1000 MT per day.
Our services included comprehensive legal advice, partial participation in negotiations, and the drawing up and analysis of the chain of contracts, including with non-resident companies, related to the provision of transportation services, storage, port logistics, transshipment agreements, and real estate leasing.
Our task was to ensure the conclusion of contracts considering optimal tax implications for client companies and compliance with international rules and business practices in Ukrainian ports.
The complexity of such services lies in the fact that the entire supply chain, technological processes, and transshipment are facilitated and contracted by different companies, sometimes involving third parties. However, all these agreements must be interconnected and harmonized to ensure the continuity of processes and proper distribution of risks and responsibilities.
The project was handled by lawyer Anastasiia Fetisova and Managing Partner Anatoliy Kosovan.
